Why does Milestone Dispatcher collect this?

There are numerous ways that your location data helps to provide the Location of the Asset owned by Milestone Dispatcher Group i.e., Truck and it’s Customer Cargo. Your location is used to calculate Estimated Arrival of Customer Cargo.

When does Milestone Dispatcher collect this?

For drivers App (iOS & Android), we collect this information when the app is running in the foreground or background of your device. For drivers and delivery recipients who grant permission to collect their location information, we collect this information when the app is running in the foreground. In some regions, we may also collect this information when the app is running in the background.

How long do we retain this information?

Unless we delete the customer account from our system and Data Retention.
